Nadia Katrín Banine, flight attendant at Icelandair, keeps well 
abreast of fashion trends. We ask her about the essentials to bring 
along while on the job and travelling.

“I find good day creams and night creams indispensable. For instance, 
I always bring the Estée Lauder Idealist skin refinisher and Advanced 
Night Repair cream – a mixture that never fails when I’m under   pressure and don’t get enough sleep. As my working hours are highly   irregular, the Yves Saint Laurent gold pen is perfect for erasing any   traces of fatigue. I also just got the silver ring with the zirconia   stones, which is incredibly stylish, and I really fell for the DKNY   silver watch. They’re truly elegant and make a perfect match.“

Nadia owns many of the products for sale in the Saga Shop, all of   which she finds to be of high quality. “I’ve often bought great   presents to bring to dinner and birthday parties, such as the Georg   Jensen salt and pepper sets, which make a gorgeous gift for anyone.”

Since Nadia has travelled extensively, we ask her what her favourite   city is. “Definitely New York,” comes the reply. “It never ceases to   amaze me. Every time I visit the Big Apple there’s always something   new to see and experience. I thoroughly recommend the Blue Fin   restaurant, which has great design and great sushi. And there’s always   something exciting on view at the Museum of Modern Art. Last but not least, no one should visit New York without spending some time in the   SoHo area,” says Nadia in closing.
